Chapter 2: Rest in Peace.

[A/N: Bear with me. I had to rewrite chapter two because my repo woman who came to bust the ghosts was a bit useless. So I reset all the Sims, apart from Selah obviously, and took matters into my own hands, as you shall see in this chapter.]

After watching a nice old film - it was a romance - and having a long think, Selah decided upon a solution to her ghost problem. She waited until the ghosts went back to their graves, then carefully removed them from their plots around her home, and took them to the town's graveyard, where they could rest in peace properly. Satisfied that she had done the right thing, Selah felt good about herself, and bade a farewell to her short-lived housemates. [No pun intended!]

After doing her daily good deed, Selah decided to get back home and enjoy her now ghost-free house. Everything was nice and quiet - there was not a single ghostly moan to be heard, nor any nasty surprises where ghosts jumped out of walls and made you jump with an unearthly scream. Selah decided that, although Lynette Bourgeois had seemed reasonably nice for a ghost, if she never saw another ghost again it would be too soon!

"I'll try and find someone to help me with my challenge tomorrow," Selah decided, yawning. It was getting a bit dark outside, and so Selah made herself an Autumn Salad for dinner. It wasn't much, but she'd had an eventful day today, what with being paranoid of ghosts, seeing things moving around her home by themselves, moving the gravestones to the graveyard, and she was tired. She finished her salad, left the plate on the table, and tucked herself into bed.

Tomorrow. Tomorrow would begin the Matriarchal Legacy Challenge.

Chapter 1: Meet Selah Harraway.

[This is Selah Harraway, the sim I will be using for the challenge I am doing! Named after my sis as thanks for inspiring me!]

Home sweet home.
It was Selah Harraway’s first day in the town of Riverview, and she was hoping she’d enjoy her new life there…as well as take on the Matriarchal Legacy Challenge. The challenge involved having children without the father moving in or marrying the mother, and this applied to every chosen female heir.

She moved into a little house called Tish Cottage - however, as lovely as it had looked, it turned out that it was built over an ancient burial ground. She'd bought a haunted house, and it was expensive too...great...

Who dares to wake us?

These two ladies did not look happy about being disturbed...so Selah decided she should talk to them and try to settle this issue...but frankly their dull, dead eyes gave her the creeps. She got quite a surprise when her dustbin started to float and rattle around! The dark haired ghost was responsible, it turned out. Selah walked over to her anxiously as she appeared, and tried to console her about the house being built by their burial ground. She seemed to calm down a little, much to Selah's relief.

The following conversation went surprisingly well! The dark haired ghost, who named herself Lynette Bourgeois, was soon chatting to Selah as if she were an old friend. She even made a friendly joke! 'It just goes to show,' Selah thought, 'that manners are always worth having!' However, she had to admit, talking to a ghost like this was a very peculiar feeling...

She decided that it would be best to try and console the other ghost too, then perhaps that would help her more to get the ghosts to move on...somehow...but the other ghost had disappeared! A little uneasy again, Selah went inside to check out her new house, and maybe watch TV, but just before she did, she caught a glimpse of another ghost. She was not being haunted by two ghosts, but three! 'I've really got my work cut out...' she thought with a sigh. She'd have to figure out how to get them to leave soon, or she'd have to move. And, with how much Tish Cottage cost her, she couldn't afford to move yet.

Ghost number 3.
With another sigh, Selah trudged inside to watch TV, and to try to figure out what on earth she was going to do...

Hello folks! First post!

Hey all, the name is Selini. Having being inspired by my big sister Selah, I decided to take up a Sims Legacy Challenge, and blog its progress too! I hope you enjoy my future blogging! I will, soon after I post this, be creating my Sim for the Legacy Challenge! I am taking up the Matriarchal Legacy; see here for details: http://sims.wikia.com/wiki/Legacy_Challenge. I know that usually the generations in Legacy Challenges are numbered at 10, but I'm just playing about here - it's also my first time taking up a Sim challenge - and I may not stretch to 10. I may do what Selah does and stick to 3. You'll have to forgive me if I don't stick to all the rules properly either. Again - playing about!

Anywho, enjoy the ride, feel free to comment on whatever, and I hope to hear from you guys!
Selini. <3
